It’s been a while since I’ve managed to update, but I’ve been collecting armorials the whole time, and they’ve now been added to the collection here. This puts the collection at 720 pre-17th C sources, and an additional 185 from the 17th C.
I’ll post a full list of the new additions tomorrow, but here are some highlights:
- Two Welsh armorials from the National Library of Wales, Peniarth MSS 148 & 149

- 64 new friendship albums, mostly from Koninklijke Bibliotheek

- One of the Scandinavian sources, Armorial suédois, is now available in colour

- A manuscript version of John Guillim’s A Display of Heraldry, which includes a lot of things that didn’t make it into the print book.

- A lovely Breton armorial, likely from around 1639 (Arsenal. Ms-4961)

I’m trying to make this site self-sustaining. If you’ve found it useful at all, and have a little bit to spare, there’s a donate button to the right.
